Some of us tried to tell you. Without a few experienced seasoned players it'll be a long season. Good day out spoiled by the football. Lots of promising signs balanced by loads of negative ones.
If anything today might have set a few alarm bells off and we redouble our search for the players we need. Once we've sorted out the Holgate saga.
Daft not playing Holgate today. He showed last Saturdsy that transfer speculation is not impacting his performance but yet with shove a clearly uncomfortable. Scowen out there.
LJ mentioned the you can't win anything with kids thing and then corrected himself in today's after match interview and said hopefully it's just a one off. Don't hold your breath that he's in the market to bring in an experienced player.
I guess I'm saying if he's signed for Bournemouth he should be in Bournemouth. If he's still officially employed by U.S. He should be with his teammates. The absence of a full back was one of the major reasons for our defeat so if we employ one then he should be playing for us until his employer changes.
I get that. I just dont really understand given that he couldn't play for them today why that couldn't wait until tomorrow to sort stuff out.
Sort it out quick, good riddance to him and his agent. Epitomizes everything that's wrong with the current game.
My worry is that we have a lot of very talented kids, but to compete they have to become men. No illusions, that's why they have been sent here. If they do not make the transition it will affect us drastically. Everything crossed.
Again I get that. But we are currently his employer like any other employer. If I give my notice in at work I'm expected to turn up for my notice period not stay at home in case I slip on the way in and can't go to my new job.
Ye you're right. Unfortunately 99% of footballers wouldn't play or wouldn't give there all. I always remember James Milner in his last game for Villa. Everyone knew it was likely to be his last game as City were expected to sign him a few days later and he was flying into tackles & giving his all. Fantastic attitude, wish more players had the same
My boss wouldn't tell me its fine, I know we have a big order that needs fulfilling by the end of the week but take Friday off and get yourself to one of our rivals for a job interview. He'd be telling me to get ******* into work and do the job I'm paid to do
The deal may be both closer and better than we are expecting and either we decided not to risk the deal breaking down through injury or Boyrnemouth insisted the deal was conditional upon him not playing today. That said, if no deal gets done quickly or at all, I would be very pxxxed off with our decision making. We needed him badly today.
That is a myth. Biglil (or jay) provided quite a lot of evidence to show that Manchester united had a lot of experience in that side
