We're being schooled by a team assembled using millions of pounds, we've lost our centre halves, we're not good enough to compete with them, simple as that. What's this now, 12 wins from 15 for them? So forgive me for not posting about how ***** we are, or surrendering myself to relegation. I'm more ****** off at the injuries than the beating. Look like hamstring injuries, and you're talking a month out at least. Good job Sir Bobby is nearing fitness. We may even have to recruit another loanee. But yes, no defeatist, whingeing from me tonight. We're losing to the best side seen at Oakwell in a long time. You Reds.
Yeah, the injuries are the worrying thing tonight, not the score. Even if they bang in another 3. Let's just hope they won't be out for long!
Correct, 3 points from these 2 games was my target. Summat at Watford then a big home game against Bournemouth.
Top scorers in the division. Walking the league at a canter. Most away wins in the division. Unbeaten in 17 games with 11 wins (or something like that). Sounds like we've tried tonight but just simply not been good enough. Injuries a worry mind. We'll beat the glory hornet boys on Satdi!
I agree with the above - to be honest I couldnt see any points from either home game and we got 3 so that in my eyes is a result - its the injuries to Cranie and Ramage that are devastating
Now the centre-halves are out for possibly half our remaining games that could well be that for our stay in this league I reckon. I hope I'm totally wrong mind but things look to be conspiring against us. I find it fascinating that when a team is doing well there are hardly any injuries but when they are struggling injuries to players are frequent.
Tonight will not be the end of us, it was never going to be. However, it does reinforce my belief that we have to make the most of our fixtures where we can realistically pick up points and really go for it in those where we have an outside chance. There is no time for faint hearts or weak spirits anymore. We play and fight as a team to the end. We revert to battling Barnsley and survive or go down with heads held high.
