Like I said i am old and daft, but surely if you are going to use the lads height to its best , then he needs to be in the middle where he can head the ball to either channel or at goal. If he is wide, the all he can do is head the bloody thing back into the middle, where the bigger centre halves are up against the smaller forward ! Modern football is stupid !
LJ said he doesn't head the ball, he's not a target man and his strengths are the ball into his feet, turning and running players, shooting on sight, especially when cutting in from out wide. Which I found strange considering he's the size of a basketball player and has the pace of Jan Molby on ketamine.
Both LJ's formations, the diamond and his one up top with 2 wide strikers are both duds, and have not worked
Signing John O'Sullivan and a right back on permanent deals would make that look like a serious team at this level. Still thin on numbers though!
