Officers were looking for a gang of teenagers who had filmed themselves with mobile phones attacking a boy in a park. They also jumped on top of police vans in College Road, ran along the roof of a stretch limousine, and clung from the outside rail of the escalators in the Frenchgate Centre. They showed themselves fighting one another - and one was sporting a knuckleduster. The film was posted on the YouTube site last month where it was viewed by more than 1,000 people as well as police officers, who were already aware of the criminal damage to their own vehicles while parked near the police station. Today they announced a breakthrough in the case. Police spokeswoman Lindsay Rust said: "Three local youths have been arrested in connection with the YouTube video enquiry. A 17-year-old youth and a 19-year-old man from Hyde Park and a <div id="ds-mpu"></div>16-year-old from Cantley have been interviewed and bailed pending further inquiries. "It is believed to be the first time arrests have been made in connection with YouTube." It is not the first time Doncaster offenders have posted evidence of their misdemeanours on the video-sharing site. A motorcyclist was filmed riding at more than twice the legal speed limit earlier this year, reaching 143mph near Wadworth. The six-minute footage showed the road ahead, along with a speedometer, as the rider weaved in and out of traffic, forcing drivers to pull over. The terror ride started on the B6463 out of Rossington, continued onto the A631 towards Tickhill, and then reached 143mph - more than twice the speed limit - on a quiet stretch of the A60. The biker went through the 20mph restriction at Wadworth Village at 60mph. Separate clips showed 'wheelie' stunts around Woodfield Road, Balby.</div><div class="ds-modifieddate">Last Updated: 02 May 2007</div>
