Letter in this evenings Star about Hoyland Magpies approaching BFC and getting a poor response so they have turned to Wendy for help.
This is contrary to what Pat Cryne has said about young footballers in the community.
In one way it doesn't matter to me if BFC does not support this team as a feeder club.
But it does matter if BFC are to promote the club in this part of the Barnsley district to gain more support.
This part of the district is already infiltrated by 100s of Wendies.
BFC need to be doing more in this area to get kids, who are born and bred in the Barnsley district to support the club.
In fact the club ought to start moving into and promoting BFC in the out lying areas e.g. Chapeltown, High Green, Thorpe Hesley.
Lets start promoting in our own town, get this in order then push forward into the oppositions areas !!!

Pat Cryne must have something about him to build a business that is worth £1 billion. But there dosen't seem to be much dynamism when it comes to selling and promoting BFC.
