Does anyone else think that next season SD will give the youngsters like Potter, Adam and Butterfield a chance? Given the departures of some fringe players this does leave the door open for them? On one hand it would be good because since Flinders, Austin and Kay I am struggling to see who were the last to come through the ranks but on the other hand I'd be more confident in this if we actually signed a few players as well!

RE: FAO anyone who went to Buxton last night

I know from the report on the official website that RNL, Jamil Adam, and Sodje only played a half but how did they play?

Adam looked decent, Reuben showed glimses and Sodje was playing against a team of his class.

I think Adam and RNL played well, but would have been better with Boggy in front of them instead of Morgan who was woeful IMHO. Thought sodje looked good going forward and had a couple of good chances, linked up well with Boggy and KO.

From what i recall Morgan touched the ball once and over hit the ball in his run, he must have hit 30 yard for him to run onto it, only for the keeper to gather it up, he looked very poor. Although the young Ramsey lad did well, maybe its worth signing him up for the 'Development Squad'.
