My opinion will differ from Hodgson but here's mine:

    Hart

    Walker
    Jones
    Cahill
    Baines

    Milner
    Gerrard
    Lampard
    Wilshere

    Sturridge
    Rooney

None of this 4-5-1 stuff, let's get two up front and attack.

Me personally, I'd drop Joe Hart, I've thought for a while that he's far too complacent. Personally I'd love to see John Ruddy given a go in goal.

    Jags for jones

    Midfield?

    That's a difficult one.

Prob go for Barry as a sitter then in front of him Gerard, Lampard and Milner.

    Strikers, lambert and Sturridge

In fact id have a midfield 3 of Gerrard, Lamps and Wilshere, and have Welbeck instead of Milner.

Time to drop Hart, but I like your defence and midfield. What about Rooney though, given the form he's been on? Or is he still injured?

People are quick to forget Rooney, his record for England speaks for itself.

I'd like to see, but can't see it...

    Forster

    Baines
    Cahill
    Jagielka
    Walker

    Gerrard
    Wilshere
    Lampard

    Rooney

    Lambert
    Sturridge

Play the straight through the middle as England's wide men are about as threatening as a butter knife.

Swap Hart for Ruddy or Forster and that's what I would go for YT. Barkley has got to play IMO.

His quality can sometimes be lacking. But he's a fine athlete who's pretty good defensively for a winger. I actually rate him, maybe not as first choice mind.

He can't be that bad if he holds down a place in Manchester City's team, under a number of different managers.
