    Whats the chances that this something thats been blown out of all proportion just so the Sun can wear its badge of National Indignation.

    I bet the Sun said that if the Euro replaced the Pound we would mean lose our national identity, strange how it hasn't happened in Ireland or France or Italy or Spain etc etc.

    Can you see France ever allowing it to be merged into 'Mid Euro Zone '.

    Never happen and was probably never proposed.

    Sorry - twas in one of the Sundays and may not have been a broadsheet as such. Possibly the Express, and as you know that used to be a broadsheet.
