Rose gets away with it though because he's a young academy lad that we want to do well. But if we signed an outsider who played like Rose he'd be bashed to bits.

Can't disagree with that. He'll get knocked about like a dinghy in a storm in this league, he's far too lightweight. If he's a regular all season then I think we've nothing much coming at all - he might end the season with 5 or 6 goals, but you're not going to progress much with that kind of return from one of your frontmen.

I'm hoping he's a benchwarmer when Lita joins the fray.

 

People said exactly the same about Andy Liddell look how right they were. Knocking our players after one game. Unfcukingbelievable

Danny Rose won't play every game, he'll be a squad player and if we bring somebody else in he'll possibly even end up out on loan. He looked poor today but the balls he was having played to him were diabolical. He never stood a chance.

 

but we know that Winnal is decent because he's got a track record to prove it and Scunny were mighty pissed to lose him.
