WTF is this about? Absolute bottom-feeders. The most detestable of the lot being some lad called Harry Holton. It’s made me physically angry, watching what these people do.
Proper cap ends, seen one flying a drone around close to a police station, clearly doing it for the film attention then another wanting to pay for petrol with a £5 coin ordered online. Just there to draw attention for views and waste everyone else's time.
I’m baffled the law hasn’t been changed, I don’t believe you should be allowed to throw a camera in people’s faces because “you can” to provoke them into a reaction for views. I know it’s not as simple as making that illegal, but that is all these guys are aiming to achieve. They film people in their place of work, to provoke a reaction and post this online, whether it be police, the military, construction workers or factory workers. It needs to stop in my opinion.
I’m amazed one of em hasn’t had a good hiding before now. The very worst of Gen Z ‘content creator’ culture.
Probably the best way to engage with them is not at all whatsoever, difficult I know, but take away the obvious provocation and that's the end of their content.
Especially as they can be prosecuted with their drones when flying over and filming private property. They’re ok to fly, but privacy laws kick in and they have to deal with GDPR…
I don’t believe GRPR is relevant to members of the public, I could be wrong. Either way, they should be prosecuted if found to be provoking people for content.
That's what Darkside Developments did when one turned up there - invited them in and showed them round most of the facility, talked about what they do etc.
Some of them definitely need a good hiding. There’s already a law about behaviour likely to cause a disturbance etc, that should be applied.
That’s the problem tho…..they have the rights to film as long as they are standing on public land and the drone is flying in a ok “fly zone” which unfortunately…..most places are. When confronted upon, they are quick to “educate” the business owners about this trying to make out that they should know this as most people think they are filming on private property. Sometimes the police will be called out but there is nothing they can do yet unfortunately. It’s a stupid law that needs changing. Had one turn up at a factory I work at regular…..the business owner wanted to go outside and give him one but luckily for him I was aware of these idiots and told him to just go outside, tell him to film whatever he wants whilst stood on the public grounds. It never made YouTube as there was obviously no reaction. The factory up the road however called the police and was indeed on YouTube.
They want a clip, one said auditor plagued one of my best mates and it went viral……..the bloke was a complete attention seeking arsehole
Had one of these turn up at building next to where I’m based with his drone, neighbour came out repeatedly kept telling him it was illegal to fly over his property, drone man started ranting about public property etc. After about 10 mins of this the drone fell from the sky to the ground and armed police turned up. Neighbour develops anti drone tech for MOD
That doesn’t seem to be enough for this H Audit bellend. He routinely enters private property, often large hotels with visitors. Major incel energy with that tool. I wonder how his parents feel about what he does? If it was my lad, I’d smash the drone myself.
Why are they called 'auditors'? I thought an auditor was someone who comes in to look at a company's finances.
Not just finances, but other things such as regulations and policies as my employers often get audited from the PRA and FCA as a matter of conduct throughout the whole company. But yes, don’t understand how these sort of folk are auditors.
They’re not auditors in any real sense of the word. They’re content creators whose sole purpose is to deliberately antagonise people for likes.
