You've got to be proud of Football in Barnsley

    No not our team but the way youngsters are looked after in the local junior football leagues. Wonderful tournement in Ward Green rec, teams from miles around. Kids are proud as punch wearing their team shirts. Talk about wear it with pride. Perhaps Davey should get down to these matches and see the 'Total' commitment from these youngsters. They sweat blood to win.

    Must commend the organisers and officials who organise local junior football in Barnsley. (clap) (clap) (clap)

    Ive seen some great games at the well, not from the big guns, but from the kids that used to play at half time :)

    Ah, so thats why there were so many cr@ply parked and double parked cars in Ward Green today.</p>

    Looked to be a fair few on t' rec when I drove past.</p>

    I took a team there from Wakefield about 5 years ago

    Thornes Juniors, we got knocked out in the semi's.

    Excellent tournament, well run with a nice atmosphere

    seconded. Hoyland Falcons and Wath in particular.....

    Top class clubs and great people. (I'm sure others too, like.) These two clubs were top class in hosting matches and socials forour touring youth team. </p>
