    Was going to post this myself when I got online. As soon as I seen the released list. Odd few released at Charlton aswell, Church & Eagles... Do a job at this level? I know Eagles hasn't played much but can be brill on his day. Wether he can be arsed or not I suppose int it

    Jamie Ward is never 31. Still in his 20s isn't he?

    I'd take him. He'd be ideal out wide in a 4-5-1 formation that Johnson prefers. But as he rejected us when he was at League 2 Chesterfield and we were a Championship club, I reckon the chances of him leaving a Championship club to join us in League 1 are slim to nil.

    Ward's a very good player but somewhat injury prone. Only chance he'll drop to third division is if Blunts offer him silly money, doubt this will happen if/when Clough gets the boot.

    Ward would be a class signing in league one. Never happen though.

    If we are looking to sign Thorpe as has been rumoured as well as keeping Nyatanga we wouldn't need another centre half with Holgate already at the club. Plus Cowgill being brought along.
