Learnt today that they must have camera's in the front. Got a speeding fine from a mobile camera van that was on the opposite side of the road. 34 fu.cking mph
Nothing at all to do with road safety, all its about is making as much money as possible out of people. I hate the way they try to screw every last possible drop of blood out of drivers.
What fcuks me off the most is that speed is such an easy target. Stick some w@nker in a van or put up a camera and they catch people doing 34mph in a 30mph zone and instantly they've made money out of you however these camera's don't catch somebody driving pi55ed or drugged up or on their mobile so the claim they are about safety is a little misguided.
I got caught doing 38 in a 30. Road just off Manvers towards Rotherham - looks and feels like a 60 but is a 30. Speed awareness course on thursday. Bastar.ds.
I got done down Worsbrough Bridge near the nursing home, I was heading up hill the van was across the road with what I assumed was the only camera facing traffic coming down hill.
Was the same with me. I was going downhill and car was facing me. Was pulled up outside a house so thought they were visiting someone. Chose course, I'm not having my insurance go up as well.
Having endured these cop programmes you'd pay less of a fine if you had no insurance, a license or had a firearm it always feels like.
eaststander just going on what you have said ,i assume if the speed van had been on your side of the road you would have slowed down is that correct.
Road hog!! Still, bad luck though. Not much fun after getting pranged last week n'all. Hopefully, that's yer lot for a while.
Yes I would but I always slowed down for them anyway as I was under the impression that the vans could get you as you passed ie by the rear number plate. But this got my front plate as I approached like I say I didn't realise they had cameras in the front too that are obviously well hidden.
