Sat in B - Lounge in Manchester. Between 75 and a 100 Barnsley fans followed us in. Cracking atmosphere and police came in to ID everyone. To be fair, there were a lot of under age drinkers in there.

All moved on to Weatherspoons and this was only 11.00am.

    You Reds!!!!!!!

Courthouse bus has been stopped and told to turn around apparently. Not letting anyone off it either. We're in a pub in Oldham but my nephew is on it, keeps texting us.

    Update.
They are on their way back to Barnsley. Police won't let them through. 2 lads on coach with banning orders apparently. So the whole coach has to go back, they wouldn't let anyone off.

Not anywhere else can the public be punished for the actions of two people other than supporting football.
This is disgracefull ,undemocratic and surely against the law by the so called law upholders.

    Really conveient that would be.

Best way to police a game is not to let anyone turn up...

It's not the Police I'd be pissed off at, but the two idiots with banning orders who still decided to travel and ruin everybody elses day.

If you actually think you live in a democracy... then try standing in front of the Town Hall with a banner they don't like. See how long yer last..

    Eh
I know they shouldn't have gone to the match but that's hardly the fault of the majority on that coach which the vast majority would t have even known about the bans.
Course its the policemans fault ffs if they can't deal with two minor breaches of a law by other means than to send the vast majority of innocent people home then the country is feked IMO.
I'll bet from experience of the miners strike these policemen would have a fekin great grin on them.bstds
If it had been a coach going to the tennis or golf with convicted sports fans on they would not have taken same actions

In a boozer near ground, plod just took us all out and put us in a park letting people go to shop for cans of ale in small groups, it's been designated a category a game for disorder and this is how it is if we don't like it we can go to cells, sent 3 coaches to West Yorkshire to be escorted in at 14-00 so kick off could be delayed

Imnot sure what the law is already but I would change it so that anybody organising a coach to a football match has access to a list of all banning orders and make it their responsibility to ensure that nobody with a banning order is on their coaches. The rest of the fans on the coach are innocent but without any measures taken to stop selfish cnuts getting on the coach then this kind of thing will happen.

Actually I would make it a football league rule that all clubs must publish on their website a list of all spectators with a banning order alongside photographs.
