But that's my point I'm not unwilling to see the root cause but I'm also not Willing to excuse plod of their actions in dealing with it. My argument is more for the rights of the other 48 not the actions of the two,or plod.
It turns out he wasn't on the courthouse coaches. He told a little white lie which was soon uncovered.
Yes, the coach he was on was turned around so they spent the afternoon in Wakefield. He told us he was on the courthouse coaches but when they were all parked up outside the ground I knew something wasn't right. It turns out one of his mates is the nephew of a bloke who travels with some of the five-o and it was this coach that was turned around.
Re: I know they use 'public order' as an excuse BUT..... Supped in Manchester before and after game till about 10pm, only saw 1 copper all day (obviously other than them on ground) I heard that a bus had been turned round. Regardless of wether 2 lads we're currently banned to halt the movement of 48 others is surely against the law? Unless they believed there intentions as a whole we're to cause disorder and I very much doubt that!! Football fans are easy pickings for the police !
Re: I know they use 'public order' as an excuse BUT..... The Police said they belived the people on the bus had only gone to cause trouble so after consulting with the senior officer turned it round. It wasn't an official coach and if you knew the lads on the coach you could maybe understand why they did.
Re: I know they use 'public order' as an excuse BUT..... Second part of that reply is correct, the whole bus had intention of causing trouble in the police opinion
If I was on that bus I'd be speaking to FSF_FairCop on Twitter. http://www.fsf.org.uk/latest-news/view/police-admit-unlawful-use-of-section-27-on-stoke-fan
Re: I know they use 'public order' as an excuse BUT..... Correct, they punished the whole coach instead of arresting the two with banning orders. I don't knock the police normally but they were out of order yesterday.
