*A short while later* Best take my young traumatised daughter out in public and make her relive what she witnessed over and over.
It's spreading awareness of the problems with the cops over there though - they're trying to make some good out of it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not often I sign in, but f*cking hell bore off. You're thinking about a situation beyond your comprehension.
is this another reference to institutional racism and police brutality, or am i getting my wires crossed?
She was filming so there was evidence of what was happening since she will have been terrified of being shot herself, wanted to show how they treated her. I'd have done exactly the same and its heartbreaking and eye opening to the world to see how she was treated.
I consider myself quite tech savvy, but if I wanted to stream something live on Facebook, it would take me a while, even with with a clear head, to figure it out. It certainly wouldn't be the first thing I'd think of doing during a trauma such as this.
I think if I got shot and was bleeding to death I'd like my girlfriend to try and stem the bleeding, or at the very least hold my hand and try to comfort me, rather than filming for Facebook.
He's in the back of the car with a Police Officer pointing a gun through the window telling her not to move , I don't think at the time she was aware he's been fatally shot
Best put the full facts instead of your own version if you want to be seen as the slightest bit non racist. She actually went on face book BEFORE the shooting. She went on as her boyfriend was being pulled over probably as a protective measure. Why would he lull out a gun because he was bring pulled over ? There were no other circumstances for the police to pull him over ,no outstanding crimes or frustrations nothing. Sorry to spoil your bile.
Is that a reply to me or somebody else? I only ask because at no point have I said, hinted or suggested that he was pulling out a gun. Not even once have I said anything even remotely like that.
He did have drugs in the car though. Not sure if it was legal in that state but she did say that they had weed in the car.
Other than this maybe? from the Louisiana Shooting thread. I know semantics is a strength but I think Bun meant Gun
That is a different incident. In one police shooting there was a man armed with an illegal gun struggling with police, one of which shouted hat the man was reaching for a weapon immediately before the other shot him. In the other instance (the one where the woman put the aftermath on Facebook) the victim was simply complying with the officers instructions and reaching for his documents. One of those after doing a lot of reading about it I would say that based on all the evidence so far the victims own behaviour led to him being killed in self defence (which doesn't excuse the police officer but does explain), in the other the victim did absolutely nothing to cause his death and a miscommunication may have led to a pathetically negligent and incompetent asian (yes not a white Caucasian guy) killing a man in a blind panic.
Could you post a link to the live stream of the stop on Facebook please? The one Ive watched on her Facebook page starts After the shooting
If she hadn't you'd be sat here saying he was a "drug dealing gangster who was asking for it, probably."
