This for me is like someone trashing their own house or even their own street - WTF would anyone want to do that ???

These fookers are in need of a hell of a good slapping

It's a reflection of how soft society is today
And if there's any proper fans in that area they need to get involved

Agree with you here. Not proper reds smashing our own seats up. Little ****ers.

If it was a one off by celebrating a goal, an accident. I could accept that. I know my lad stands on his seat now and then celebrating. His has never broken!

So ..... that many in a small section is more than a cooincidence. It needs sorting 'in house'. It's like vandalism in a church!

Just seen the amount of damage on the Barnsley. Matchday drinkers fb can't do that amount of damage by accident.

as a side note. Athersley Rec have just opened a new stand. It's standing with 8-10 seats. £300+ excluding labour/fitting etc.

So reckon theres £2-3k bill in total.

Because if the club will have to report it then we'll get charged by the FA again

I don't think the FA will trawl facebook and twitter for pictures of seats, whereas if a club is to make an official statement the FA will be notified almost immediately

2 options, the ticket holders for the seats pay for the damage, or close that section.

As much as I agree that these muppets should be punished for this closing the section would kill the atmosphere and potentially ruin the great atmosphere whats been there in the first 3 matches

The way I see it is.... I'm pretty laid back the lad who ran on the pitch over celebrating after roberts 1st goal people said ban him... no it was just spur of the moment.... Even the pyro which has been going off after goals I can live with. But them seats look like someone has gone at them with a sledgehammer no way is it accidental. No time for that if you want to do that go watch wednesday smash their seats up but not at oakwell. Ban em.

They don't sit on them they stand on them everyweek thats why their in such a bad condition, the point of having seats up their is silly if their not gonna respect em properly just take them out, but then again that'll probably get use another fine from the FA for that as well.
