Bradshaws scored 4 already in the league this season so he needs 2 more to reach that milestone I'm quite happy to have a wager he will reach that from now until end of season if you want? And that's 4 for a player who's only just started getting a look in because we played winnall and watkins and then hecky switched and tried winnall and armstrong for abit bradshaw kept getting 15 mins from the bench where he got 2 goals 1 v wolves and 1 v Rotherham. It has taken chris wood 3 seasons to start scoring at leeds bradshaws done okay for me so far for the limited opportunity he had early on and getting partnered with winnall rather than watkins.....
...........'paying same wages'........??? Obviously some one hasn't been able to understand what's being written Jeeeeezzzzz
Gi ' o'er....play offs were/ maybe still are a dream. We'll def finish mid to top half I'd have took that in Aug.
The play offs were never on though were they, in all fairness ? We've done so well to get where we are and relegation is almost out of the way. I say almost because we still need to get near 50 points as soon as poss. But with this money grabbing January window taking effect now (Winnall for starters), I think Hecky is going to have a job on to keep things calm for the rest of this season.
Up until this week the possibility was there, it still is mathematically, but Im a realist. And the whole Winnall saga has been a kick in the guts. And it looks like it could get worse with Hourihane potentially leaving, It was expected, but it doesn't make it any less difficult to stomach. Speaking of realism though, we are in a fantastic position at this stage, playing good football, with some good young players, getting ever closer to our primary target, 50 points and safety. A few additions would be most welcome, Bogle? Morsy? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ohh of course Psycho lol, yes it was always possible and for example this time last year I wouldnt have given you a tanner for our chances of making the play offs etc.. This team never ever cease to amaze me and after what we saw in 2016, lets not judge too much. But back in August I was all about staying up this season, and I think we will do it easier than we expected. Whether thats down to us doing well or teams like Rotherham & Burton doing badly, thats all debatable of course.
If the play off dream is over for this season, we'll just have to go on a run in the cup to get our visit to Oakwell South.
Our dream now is to survive. Hopefully our first half of the season points will keep us up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bet me to it, we've drawn a match in the second tier of English football still very comfortable in the table and this fella is on the phone to the samaritans I despair I really do.
Happy chap tonight Jesus. Yiadom back soon, Mowatt and the rest to settle in. We'll get more points than you think in February.
Wow We draw a game with a team 3 points below us and now we're fighting to survive. You've got to be joking. You are aware that when Hourihane wasn't in the side we didn't win every week? Sometimes we had similar games to today, like against Wigan. You also realise that we are currently closer to the play-offs than we were after the Fulham game, when you first made this post?
