The problem is she is going to make it about Brexit. We can all see the major problems in our society are low wages, low expectations of society, the underfunding and mismanagement of the Public Sector. All of these issues will be sidelined in favour of Brexit. Will those most affected by the policies of the government, finally take an interest in their future?
Could be interesting for our PM, who holds a strong Remain seat while pursuing aggressive Leave agenda. A strong Lib candidate could run her close. Has a PM ever been kicked out at an election before?
Neither did she, until she saw the 20 point lead those lovely people enjoy in some polling. Come clean, Theresa - that's what it's about. Everybody knows that, so stop with the ********, please.
Will be interesting to see how the people of Barnsley vote. A town which habitually votes Labour, but will they vote for a party whose leader is pro freedom of movement etc? Some people's heads may just explode.
Seems to me it's a plot to stop brexit... With article 50 triggered we would be out before a general election otherwise... The cntus
So all those labour voters in all areas who voted for Brexit to keep out foreigners and give Britain back to the British, the hard cases, are going to face one hell of a dilemma now.
just think what the sweaties will be going through, independence from England but stay in eu or stick with the union and leave the eu, leave the eu and independence.................................. ******** you lot work the permutations out
Lots of places like that - including Maidenhead and Windsor (where our PM is MP) and London (traditionally Labour/Tory, voted strongly for Remain). Would the people of Barnsley vote Conservative, will UKIP actually win a seat? Would you vote to stop immigration (and the Tories have failed to cut immigration through 7 years of government when it has been a target for them to do so) if it means more austerity, job cuts and privatization and less money for education and the NHS? (I can't and won't, but until I see the manifestos I don't know who I will vote for). 48% of the country voted Remain, and the two main parties outside Scotland seem to be ignoring them. That is a hell of a lot of votes to aim for.
Yes - my head is absolutely exploding on this one. Dugher and Jarvis are certainly not socialists. Corbyn is - They actively campaigned against Corbyn. I want to vote for Corbyn but will never vote for Dugher I will never vote for a Tory - but they are pro - brexit. Barnsley is pro Brexit - Dugher and Jarviis are anti-brexit. I wont' vote Lib because of their alliance with the Tories. But they are the most socialist of the lot - but anti brexit. My heads just exploded.
I'd rather not vote Dugher or Jarvis (if they were my standing MP's), but it's inevitable that Corbyn if people such as ourselves don't vote Labour because the Labour candidate isn't "left" Labour.
Likewise, a lot of Tory voters in areas that returned a strong remain vote will have to think for once.
I agree with that but what's the alternative? A labour government who will hike up benifit's for unemployed and "sick" who will open the borders wfor a load of uneducated folk who can't speak the lingo..... I'm out not voting neither
I genuinely believe jarvis is a good man, I don't know enough about dughar to have an informed. Opioin
