2 would be disappointing 5 a reckon is unrealistic given the time it takes to get a deal over the line. So I’ll go for 3.
Just seen Claude Puel has agreed to let attacking midfielder Andy King ( age 29) out on loan. He's six foot is a full Welsh international and has scored 55 goals in 329 starts for Leicester City. Should we make a last minute swoop for him.?
I’m not asking names of any targets as I genuinely don’t want to know them. I’ve wondered throughout where we’d be looking if nothing moved with Fletcher/Mcburnie though so if anywhere we might end up with a striker who hasn’t been named yet. As far as I know the targets are Eastwood, Knasmullner, Ephestion. Then we were keeping an eye on Fletcher/Mcburnie. I haven’t asked so I do not know the CB target although radio sheff report Matt Mills. I also haven’t asked what is going on with Angus.
Would be a sensational signing. Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Bristol City seem to be in for him. Don’t imagine we’re in the same ballpark fee/wages wise.
I hope for at least four. I really don't get this last minute frenzy every transfer window. I realise clubs want to be poker faced and get the best deal but come on, the last minute nature of it all only increases the chances of panic signings and daft risks being taken. It only serves to get Sky Sports viewers.
Unless something happens tonight then it would be unrealistic to get 5 in on deadline day. Just literally not enough time to do all the paperwork.
