I know not all on here are England fans or even that interested, but those who are:

Who do we think Southgate will pick as his three goalkeepers?

Butland isn’t having the best season though is playing for a terrible team.

Pickford makes wonderful saves but is very naive and doesn’t boss his six yard box.

Hart can’t get in the West Ham team over an average Adrian.

Fraser Forster isn’t playing for Southampton.

Ben Foster has retired from international football apparently, and isn’t doing too much at West Brom in any case.

Nick Pope has been solid and reliable for Burnley, though never looking spectacular. Heaton is fit again by all accounts but may or may not get back in their team.

Outside the premier league there’s Ruddy at wolves who are making headlines, sam Johnstone at Villa who is obviously on Man Utd’s books so probably on the radar, Carson at derby and frank fielding at Bristol City.

Who are your three, who do you think Southgate’s three will be if that’s different, and who gets the number one shirt?

I’d take Butland Pickford and Nick Pope. I think Southgate will stay loyal to Hart after a solid qualifying from him and take him with Butland and Pickford.

My number one? I’d say Pickford but as they said on MOTD last night he gets bullied too easily. I’m not sure he has the authority. So Butland. Suspect Southgate despite the season might stack with Hart.

A couple of years ago I thought we were in a great position with our keepers Butland & Forster looked great prospects & Hart was still doing ok so you’d got your 3 & weren’t worried about any of them.

Now none of them fill me with any confidence. Butland’s not really fulfilled his potential, Forster’s not been the same since his bad injury & Hart’s just getting worse & worse.

Pickford, Heaton & Pope are all decent enough but none are anything close to world class.

I think he’ll take Butland as number one, Pickford as two & have Hart there for experience. I’d do similar but swap Hart for whoever’s first choice in the Burnley goal at the end of the season

Hart has been poor for a long time now... Even at the euros he let a couple of soft goals in.

Butland has to be number 1 he's been head and shoulders above any other English keeper all year barring a mistake last week.

Pickford and Heaton back ups should they be needed....

Anyone who thinks Joe Hart should be in any three should be banned from ever attending a football match ever again.

I imagine Hart will go for as the experience, won’t play though.

Butland as number 1, Pickford as backup.

I think he should be. Been England’s best goalkeeper for many years and useful to have in the dressing room even if he doesn’t get a game. England lack leaders at the moment.

IMO you have to take the players who have played best for their club. So that would be:

Butland- Hasn’t done anything majorly wrong other than the OG last week. Should be first choice.

Pickford- made some great saves this season but not commanding enough to be no 1 keeper. Will go as backup.

Pope- Some people thought that Burnley would be in deep trouble when Heaton got injured but pope came in and has won games for Burnley this season. Should definitely go imho

As for standby, again it has to be someone who has been playing regular. No one else in pl other than foster (who isn’t interested). So from champ there’s ruddy, Carson and Johnstone. For me it would be Carson- been solid all season

Butland goes as first choice, and Southgate will take Hart for experience. Pickford probably goes as number three.
