When I first started going in our club you had to queue outside on New Years Eve to get the best seats in the concert room. Several generations of families would be out and the older end always had food, as you rightly say. It was a long night.
Kershaws , my mother in law used to have a jar of cockles every Saturday night in Radical And Liberal Club.
Gents we’re from conisborough / mexboro area . Saw them lots of times around clubs in Donny area think they split and became lip service . Bitter suite , flick of the wrist , tubeless hearts all packed the clubs out #happydays

The Gents were seemingly a semi permanent fixture at Roof Top Gardens in Wakefield in the mid 80s. Must have seen them more than a dozen times. Happy days.
