Best move is to switch from 4-3-3 to 4-5-1 with your star striker forced to stand just in front of your own penalty area. Absolutely ***** tactics and Morais got exactly what his negativity deserved
I couldn't see the point doing that either. Our only goal threat 40 metres from goal. We can only play for 45 minutes. Our only hope of staying up is that the three below us keep playing as badly as they are.
We were not hammering them. Second half norwich were much better with and without the ball. We needed to chnage it but the bench is non-league
I don't understand why we stopped pushing on their back 3 at goal kicks after an hour and left Moore to run about chasing shadow. Was that a tactical change?
We are ****, there is no disputing that but being **** and negative tactics is really grinding my gears.
Yes, there are as it stands and even if we lose on Sat we can't drop into the bottom three. Which is good as I can't see us winning
Unfortunately I can't see us getting anything on Saturday either but I would start with Mallan. I'm not sure Tinkerman will though.
And Moore from close range hitting it at keepers feet, slight lift and it was in.. or Moore again but he was too slow to sort feet so the shot got blocked. Dont know why Thiam side footed it when he needed to wrap foot around it for curl in far corner. Also Potts blasting it way over when he had chance to take it closer or pass it.
I didn’t really see this. What I saw was Norwich change from 3-5-2 to 4-2-3-1 & they pinned us back. It wasn’t negative it was just that we couldn’t deal with it. Jose needed to change it & get fresh legs on to replace McBurnie but didn’t
I think we had a 15 minute spell at the start of the second half where we should have put the game to bed, hammering them or not we were well on top. Thiam and Moore both missed presentable chances, albeit from tight angles. We always needed that second goal and when it never came, then the writing was on the wall.
I've seen the highlights on skysports.com and it was overwhelmingly us attacking and Norwich defending, maybe "hammering" is a bit OTT but we were certainly dominating.
