Watching that video reminded me of how fixated I was on barnsley and football in general, when I was growing up. I'm really glad the Internet wasn't invented in those days, because I'm pretty sure some of the ideas and thoughts expressed on this site, would have totally ruined it for me if I'd ever caught a glimpse of them.
It really is impressive. Just shows what can be achieved with external professional assistance and guidance.
Brilliant that. That's exactly mine and my lad's match day routine. Except he doesn't make his own breakfast (the lazy little get!!) and it's beer in The Outpost rather than lager in The Mount. Priceless moments. Reds!!!
What about the journey home after the match ? bet the poor lad's crying his eyes out, and his dad effing and jeffing ( and blaming Davies) .
Enjoyed that and the Bolton blog video that comes up when ours finishes. Excellent behind the goals shots
I remember walking into Oakwell for the first time with my Dad back in 80/81, and taking my own son, then 4, to his first game in 2005. Brought it all back watching that, a great piece of work.
