Been told the same. Also heard there’s a lot of very unsavoury stuff still going on between the club and Stendel. Don’t want to say much as easy to get in trouble, but let’s jus say it’s become a legal battle and there are one or two dirty moves being pulled. On the plus side, players do like Murray and have enjoyed it since he’s taken over. Team for Saturday will raise a few eyebrows...
So we are stuck with a no hoper after having a record breaking manager sacked. League 1 here we come again. I really hope I'm proved wrong on this one.
I imagine there's allsorts that goes off at the club which would be quite eye-opening and like this board it'll be opinion based. Testosterone flying around. Big money, egos and what have you. Anyway, I'm behind the new coach and the players and I hope for three points against Swansea. The soap opera will always go on.
I don't envisage much change in personnel so I'll assume a tinkering of system. I'd prefer us to be harder to beat first off.
if it’s true,it will be seen as penny pinching and a massive step backwards in ambition by the club. it’s been totally ***** PR on behalf of the club showing (imho) contempt for the fan base. They expect folk to turn up regardless pay their monies and crack on like good little boys and girls ( think they might get a shock there), with absolutely zero coming from their direction. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this low with the club
Let's be right though mate, under this board, at this level, Sir Alex would be a 'no hoper' The job is a poisoned chalice.
I know where you're coming from, but still.. It's a bit unfair to label someone a no-hoper before they've even pinned up their first team sheet.
Shouldn’t forget most of our recent managers including Stendel, Heckingbottom, Wilson(first time) had very little if any experience

I’ll be honest, I find my club is becoming an embarrassment of late. I will back him and hope it goes well for him and all of us. But it was piss poor us appointing head coaches as apposed to managers and now we’re just settling for caretakers. This board are laughing stock. The frosty reception they may or may not receive on Saturday will be justified. As said above though I do hope it goes well for this Murray guy but I don’t feel the crowd will be as forgiving if the result doesn’t go our way Saturday.
Fair comment, but none of them had such a poor squad of players to work with. Can you imagine this lot in charge of the Wilson promotion team? No Thompson, Wilkinson, Hendrie or Redders - too old.
If it’s going to a legal battle maybe that is why they are holding off? Probably not a good idea to muddy the waters with a new head coach contract before everything is sorted.

Don't think it really matters too much myself. We will still have the same players and the same transfer policy regardless of who is head coach. Hopefully we might get the "new manager bounce" for a game or two. The 2nd hope is that some of the players start to improve.
