Bit disappointed with this one, he was starting every game for a while and playing decent

It will be a shame, but I guess Mallan will be next. I hope they are still in our plans as Mallan & Mcgeehan were the 2 I had the highest hopes for at the start of the season. :(

I don't think it's a bad move at all. Cameron has been recovering from a serious injury and I think he needs to be playing more regularly before we can determine whether he's up to it.

I don't think he quite found form with us so a run in a decent league 1 side could be the tonic he needs to get back up to speed.

I'm confused by this. I thought we paid a million for him and he was one of our big hopes !

    Strange move, this.

Would have kept him over Moncur personally but maybe this is part of a deal for Adelakun or Morris?

We're certainly thinning out the midfield options. Good move I think - keeping players on the sidelines with very little chance of getting into the first team is no good for anyone. If we did pay a million for McGeehan I would hope he will impress in his first few games at Scunny and generate a sale at about the same fee.

Good move, not quite got his form back from before his injury and also was a big step up to the championship, I think we’ll have a cracking player next year

Absolute farce. Didn't look amazing in his little run of games but looked streets ahead of Potts, Moncur and Gardner.

Needed to thin a few out in midfield. Getting some game time, will allow Hecky to track his & Bird's progress better than having them on bench / under 23s all the time. He looked OK to me, but no better than Potts or Gardener.

I agree it’s a bit strange but we still have Gardner, Williams, Potts, Moncur and Mallan. Hopefully we’ll bring in another midfielder who is a bit more aggressive because I feel we’ve lacked that at times. McGeehan is a quality player but the point of long-term contracts is the players may come to the fore at different times - hopefully for McGeehan that time isn’t next season!

    Agree Exile, sweetener for Adelakun.
McGheehan gets guaranteed minutes to get him ready for next season.
Scunthorpe step up from Luton and at right end of table!

Think he needs regular football to get him game ready for us next season.Good move in my opinion and looks to me that hecky is having more of a say in this window.

He wasn't playing and sometimes didn't make the bench . Big disappointment really. Shame for the lad but showed very little quality.
