Silly push but nothing really, reaction should have been both got yellow. Get on with the game at Nil Nil.

 

Having a much better second half. Great challenge to limit damage to a corner just before the equaliser.

I think he’s had a good game, the penalty and foul on Firmino aside.

Looks to have filled out a bit.

 

He looks so at ease with the ball at his feet (has done for years).

Those type of defenders generally seem to be going for more money nowadays (Stones, Van Dijk, etc) so here’s hoping he’ll keep developing and we’ll get a nice windfall in the not too distant future.

He being who? I didn’t put the game on until late in the second half, so haven’t seen any of this.

 

Searched his name on Twitter to see what fans think of him and it appears he's deleted his account because Liverpool fans have been retweeting an homophobic tweet he posted back when he was 16. Them lovely Liverpool fans at it again. Always someone else to blame. Instead of having a go at their own player for apparently being racist, they search to dig up an old tweet of a kid.

 

Firminho apparently called him a ‘puta’, a Portugese insult & Holgate thought he’d been called a ‘n***a’.

Hopefully that’s the case & it wasn’t racism.

Nothing wrong with having a bit of a nasty streak especially in a Derby

 

Yeah I thought he'd said "Putain" which is French for the F-word or something similar.

 

Yeah, if you watch enough football you see it being said all the time from those Europeans! Like when they miss a shot,etc. I can swear in Urdu btw, having worked with Indians for so long.

Not any more. Plenty of action on that Wiki page in the last 24 hours. I do wish people wouldn't do that. Wikipedia's a fantastic resource if people respect it.
