Because negotiations with previous potential buyers were probably covered by the same sort of confidentiality agreement that you couldn't accept during the Chien Lee takeover.
My guess that very few clubs wanted to buy us in the state we were in at the time and those that did weren't suitable. Is it so difficult to make the link between us being a championship club once again, operating largely within our budget, having a good amount of cash in the bank and suddenly becoming a realistic option for serious buyers?
One thing is true. You, ESPECIALLY YOU, have no right to criticise Mr Cryne about the way he has conducted his business. You've got far too much to say about things like this and it's all based on total ignorance. You claim to know plenty but you know nothing at all. Best thing for you to do is stop commenting on things that have nothing whatsoever to do with you.
Because these things are private and covered by non-disclosure agreements. As hundreds of people have tried to tell you thousands of times before. It's how business works.
This post is a fine example relating to a thread I started earlier - regarding threads becoming so long that people dont read the full content of the thread. Look at what I wrote earlier within this thread in relation to what you have written here.
My comment has nothing to do with the thread being too long. You are right about one thing though - I haven't read all of it. I find most of what you write tedious beyond comprehension so prefer not to waste my time. I'm not the only one of that opinion. I repeat - in case you are having trouble taking this in.....you have FAR too much to say about the inner workings of the football club and the personal business of the custodians/employees of that club. There is nothing wrong with being interested in what is going on (that's why we are all on here I would have thought) but you go too far with it. It's not for you, or I, to comment on the way people conduct their business, whether that be the day to day running of the club and team or how they handle the sale of the club. These are private matters that we can all speculate on but, in the end, know nothing about. I have no right to such information. Neither have you.
I don't mean to be rude by just DON'T READ HIS POSTS !! There I feel better now Also as far as I'm aware he can post as he likes provided he doesn't contravene admins rules, it isn't illegal and doesn't really go against generally accepted good taste. Gally please put me right if this is incorrect, thanks.
You portray yourself as an independent thinker, but don't you think independent thinkers should be accountable for their independent thoughts, that they should explain their reasoning when asked to do so.
I said yesterday I will reply to you today. And I will. I cannot sit at work typing out lengthy tomes on here.
I've got one here at home. Well, I may have. If I had one, it may or may not disclose the exact location of the Secret Italian restaurant near Town End. Oh ******.
Cryne did not buy it when we were in Admin though. He was not the one that actually saved the club. He did buy it after though and put in a heck of a lot of money into it.
The club was still in Administration when Patrick purchased the club. Which is why we couldn't sign any new players unless they were on extremely short contracts (Ilic, Gallymore, Burns, etc.). Once Patrick's purchase was ratified by the Football League, the club exited Administration, we could then bring in players on lengthier contracts and had our League membership returned.
