And now Morata booked for diving (then a second booking for dissent). Don’t think I’ve ever seen it happen 3 times in one game.
Can't have done because the replay agreed with me, though the commentators didn't, but who cares what the strikers union say.
It’s only a matter of time before uefa will be rolling out an invisible force field for each player to wear so they can’t go within 5 yards of each other
I fear for the ref, you can't go round booking players for diving and sending them off against Chelsea. He'll be struck off the list for this.
Morata was booked initially for handball/trying to referee the game. Full marks to the ref for that one.
Juat hears one of the pundits utter that phrase I hate with a passion. "He was entitled to go down". I hate football
Bunch of little bitch boys. They should introduce fighting like in ice hockey, you go down like a tart and somebody smacks you in the face for it. Would improve the game no end.
Touching someone isn’t a foul, he’s got to impede him & he doesn’t. It’s a dive & he deserved his second yellow Edit - Getting mixed up with the Morata decision. Not seen Willian’s incident
Interesting that the referee’s body has today stated that the incident should’ve been referred to the VAR and that it should’ve resulted in the yellow card being overturned and a penalty awarded.
I cannot understand that once the ref had stopped the game to book Willian , he did not take the opportunity to have it reviewed , he had nothing to lose , if he was right , it is in his favour & if he got it wrong it showed he had used his brain to get the right outcome , incidentally , I thought it was a penalty
