(1) If the league ended today we'd not be relegated. (2) There's some real dross (including us) in this division.
3) Knasmullner to come in next week. He surely has to be an improvement on what we've got. Because if he isn't, we're buggered.
He’s going to have to hit the ground running coz we’re sure running out of ‘players settling in’ time
Yeah, if we're willing to drop either of Gardner/Williams which doesn't seem likely... living in hope though
Difficult to believe we're not in the bottom 3 after the run we've had. Particularly as we weren't that far up the league when it began. Last few games have confirmed what I already thought. Changing formation to the much hyped 4-4-2 and dropping utter dross like Potts has made no difference. We haven't got a surface level of crapness, we're crap right down to the core.
Don't think so. A half fit Knasmullner must surely offer something more than what today's midfield did. On the upside of things, McBurnie looks a real handful. With some decent deliveries from midfield we might actually score a goal next week.
Can you remember int olden days when we signed a player, they always played next game. Nowadays, its a month before they get a start.
if he is, we are as good as down for me. Needs to come straight into the side as we are utter toss across the middle no matter who plays
We're trying to follow Paul Heckingbottom thinking here, not a manager who might have half an idea what he's doing.
How many seasons in the last 13 years have we stayed in the Championship - hoping that there was going to be 3 teams worse than us? Last season was an exception because we had a good start - and then the backbone of the side was sold. But 2nd half of last season was bottom 6 maybe bottom 3. We have been rooted to the bottom six or Division 1 for years.
Burton have some real fight especially away from home. Reckon Sunderland & Hull are done for. Our season will be defined in the next few weeks
