I was appalled by the attitude of 4 of our defensive players when we were level at 2-2.

    Davies, Yiadom, Lindsay and Fryers.

Their heads had gone. Held together by Jackson with Mcburnie and Moore doing their all to kick them in to gear.

Our attacking players never gave up today when others did. Gardner and Potts were run into the ground but their heads never went. Bradshaw and Hammill gave it everything and both played huge parts after we went behind.

The 4 mentioned above were taking the draw and if that attitude had spread we’d be 2 points worse off right now.

Massive credit to the front lads today who never gave up battling when some around them had given in. If we can EVERY player wanting to win games and not settle for draws then safety is certainly achievable

    Come on reds.

Didn’t see any of that. Davies took a bit of time taking his goal kicks but when does he not?

Let’s just enjoy the win eh?

    I am.

You can still discuss the game whilst enjoying the victory.

You can discuss it of course, but why not focus on positives after a win? We’ve had enough poor results to discuss the negatives.

One thing I noticed when their second went in was how furious Moore looked (in a good way, I mean showing how much it meant to him) and how much Adam Jackson was trying to gee up those around him. McBurnie's body language was awful for a good 25mins but he scored and did a great run just before he went off so I won't be too upset about it.

Given how low his confidence must be after last few months I thought he did well. And hopefully the win can give all the lads at the back a boost. Gets the monkey off.

Yiadom to left back and Cavare or McCarthy in at right back.

I would rather have Pearson at left back than either Zeki Fryers or Pinnilos on recent form too.

I really didn't see a way back at 1-2. Not sure if it was attitude or lack of fitness tbh, but I thought Yiadom, Potts, Moncur, Isgrove, were passengers and replacing Moncur and Isgrove was absolutely the right move. Sheff U players looked way fitter.

Adam Jackson simply superb, and that big lad up top with a yard of pace, not just a target man. Weve found a midfielder in Gardener at last!!!!

McCarthy is the worst of the lot.

People are blinded by his early link up play at home with Hammill.

He let Morais down badly against Bristol.
