I’d give McBurnie a rest in this one and play Hammill from the start. He looked disinterested the majority of the match and gave Fryers little cover. Bring him off the bench if we’re losing and play him up top with Moore.

I’d potentially look at playing Cavare or McCarthy instead of Fryers as he looks shot of confidence. Same team otherwise though. Our midfield trio is working very well.

Ipswich have failed to score in 5 of their last 6 so I think there’s definitely something in it for us. If we get the first goal I can see us getting 3 points.

Birmingham, Bolton and Reading have Bristol City (A), Millwall (H) and Fulham (A) respectively so we could easily find ourselves outside the bottom three on Wednesday morning with a game in hand which would be a massive boost ahead of Saturday.

Ipswich are there for the taking - manager is a dead man walking, nothing to play for, got to be a great chance for us - I agree with the assessment - Fryers isn't great but McBurnie was average today in front of him - to be fair he's a striker not a wide player and it would be harsh not to start a striker who's scored, then again Bradshaw came off the bench and scored and Moore was MotM - tough decision on Tuesday on who to play.

McBurnie's weakness is his defensive play. He obviously isn't interested and needs to work on this. But I wouldn't drop him as he has goals in him and we need to win. Others can help cover for him with his defending but no one's going to score the goals he can score.

Just been mentioned on Radio Sheffield that McBurnie had trouble with his
groin from last week. He obviously was feeling that and did well to score and
play as long as he did. Sounds as though he could be a doubt for Tuesday anyway.!

McBurnie’s natural game looks kind of like he’s strolling round but that’s no dig at him. Everything is so casual with him, which is often a sign of a good player. The casual nutmegs he keeps pulling out are great to see, like no effort at all.

But I definitely want him playing every minute he can. He’s a goal scorer and we need goals to win games.

Agree with others, it would be Hammill for Isgrove on Tuesday for me.

Agree with the above - the only change I would make is Hammill for Isgrove.

Just when you thought he was done he did that dribble and kept rolling the ball over his foot and the DeeDah defender looked hypnotised. Not sure he's premier league, but he's pretty close.

I know, it was great to see and wasted a bit of time near the end. Made injury time seem a bit shorter that’s for sure.

I think you’re probably right about the premier league. I think next season he’ll be at a top championship club and then we’ll see how he can progress from there. I definitely think he can be premier league in the coming years though.

I hope he doesn’t go to Rangers, as I know he has an affiliation with them it seems, but the league isn’t great and he can do better.

McBurnie is our best player by a mile. Unless he loses a leg by Tuesday I’d play him. Actually even one legged is give him a go.

Heinz Muller played with one leg and did pretty well. He was definitely quite a lot better than Martin Taylor with two

The first half against Ipswich at home was arguably our best of the season and we should've been out of sight at half-time, instead of 1-0. Bradshaw missed a couple of sitters as I recall and there were others too. Mick then changed things at half-time and attacked us with Waghorn, McGoldrick, Garner and Sears all on the pitch together and our soft centre crumbled.

We need to go and attack them with Moore and McBurnie, play on the fact that the crowd will get on their backs and play to our strength, which is not defending deep.

When we score two goals we don't lose, what is it 7 wins and 2 draws when we score two, 1 win from 31 when we don't? Surely, this management team are able to work out that attack is the best (only) form of defence with this team?

I hope this is a wind up. McBurnie covers more ground than anyone else on the pitch.

If Ollie did pick up a knock or a pull in training today before the kick off, then maybe the question could be asked about resting him a bit at Ipswich.
Im really interested to know if Moore and Bradshaw can and/or will work well together as a partnership, regardless of what league we're in.
