From the start of the season to the end of February IIRC. He was very unfairly treated in my opinion, despite the hammering at Grimsby.
Mainly because I think a lot realised it was all about of a fraud. Picked due to who he worked for not for him being the best candidate for what we needed.
That's hardly Morais's fault though. The board saw his CV in black and white just as we did. Only for some reason having seen it, they still proceeded to employ him. Morais presumably interviewed well, and backed himself to keep us up.
He's gone, so I really don't care.. What does bother me tho is the person/people that thought it was a good idea are still here.. And are about to get another go.. Please don't **** up again..
No it isn’t but anyone who can use google could see the writing was on the wall. Poor managerial record wherever he’s been and no knowledge of our division whoever appointed him needs shooting tbh.
I didn't dislike him, he seemed to be a pleasant enough chap but he was a really really poor manager who should not have been appointed in the first place.
Folks are probably tired of me saying it but I never forget Davey parking up and walking past a queue of us renewing season tickets without a word. Says it all, really.
Similar to what I have said a few times about queuing for Liverpool tickets. He left the club shop around half four with his head down to avoid acknowledging them queuing, got in his 4x4 and drove off quickly. Didn't think the fans were worth a few minutes of his time. Could have gave a quick thanks and say he appreciates the support for those who for some queued around ten hours that day. That said give me a guy like him who's easy to dislike but gave us some great days, over someone who comes across as a decent bloke like Morais but didn't have a clue.
I read it earlier on Twitter; the shortest reign for a permanent manager in our history. Had he been at Leeds however, he probably wouldn't have made the top 10.
Yes but he should not be the human sheild for all the poor decisions and absence of leadership over the last 2 years. Hecky got fed up and he was nearly bullet proof.
