That's not how football clubs operate anymore. Why do people not realise this? There are recruitment teams that do all that stuff now, not the manager.
Doubt there’s any interest, he’s not the type we need. He was released at the point of us going back up to the championship at a time when we played 4-4-2 & he looks a million miles off been ready. If anyone honestly thinks Hecky / Mansford / whoever should’ve given him a 3 year deal in the hope that he might one day be ready I think you’re talking ********. Even if we sign him there’s no guarantee he’d be up to it. Luke Berry was outstanding at league 2 level & was nothing more than average in league 1.
