    Last few days I have not been able to listen to mw in the car it's just distorted. However late at night it works fine. Been and checked and it's the same in the wife's car. Anyone have a explanation for this? Got me puzzled.

    Medium wave transmissions have always worked better in the dark than during the daylight. Dunno the scientific reason for that but it has always been so in my experience.

    It' funny you say this mate. I listen to talksport all day everyday and it works fine until 10am but then after that it just goes all fuzzy and you can' hear anything.

    Very odd. Never had a problem until now. Glad it's not just me thought I was going mad!

    Haven't listened to MW for years, but certain parts of town have really bad DAB/Digital reception. The ex-Cundy Cross roundabout is one, as surprisingly is the top of Ardsley Hill as you head towards Darfield.
