    that's not strictly true. When players are out of favour they usually go elsewhere to get a game rather than being idle for the duration of their contract.

    They both need to meet the new coach before making a decision. If he can inspire them to stay, fine. If not, lets hope we spend the money wisely and hold out for a good deal. I would keep both of them.

    The point of a contract is to protect both sides... of course we can keep Moore even if he wants to leave. He can get us back to the Championship if thats where he wants to be

    There's no contract that will force a footballer to stay at a club against his wishes and apply himself whole heartedly like he was enjoying it.

    Hopefully he won't go, but if he wants away his agent will engineer a move.

    I have an eerie feeling that we will actively seek to offload the higher earners (Hammil) and will actively choose to cash in on any saleable assets, e.g. Moore.

    Business as usual, but hardly bodes well for an immediate return.
