Georgio and I are enjoying a wonderful bottle of pink champagne to celebrate the win and the publishing of the 3rd edition of my book tonight George (and Georgio) Spicer.
As a matter of interest, at what time of year would you normally have your crepe pans seasoned George?
George, I've got to admit I'm not too impressed with the new book. The cover art is generic, the binding is of a very low quality and the print is quite blurred on pages 9, 14 and 104. I must say though, the subject matter is rather racy, couldn't stop thinking about it all day, even while I was pruning my lemon verbena. Shocking stuff!
I disagree, I found it quite riveting, I think it was an excellent insight into rural life and the company that other half keep, I especially liked the quite racey chapters that involved the grape pickers,
The section on pansies seemed particularly well researched and I felt he went into unnecessary detail and at length!
