Wondered how long it was before the team being beaten was because we sold Bradshaw. I think most people accepted Bradshaw was a good L1 striker, limited at championship, and the deal was decent money. Not sure anyone said he wouldn’t be missed at all. At least not until the replacements are ready to play. Today the whole team 1-11 have been way below par. Like Wimbledon and Blackpool - which Bradshaw played in. If we can’t snowball a team we struggle to create anything.
Our battled, while ever we don’t match other teams determination well not get anything choose what stats have gone before. Sounds like some of think they had just to turn up today.
We've unnecessarily disrupted the team by letting someone go earlier than we needed to and before we had someone else who could step straight in. I don't know how anyone can argue that we haven't.
We'll have games like this, this season. We'll also have games like Tuesday. I reckon we'll have more like Tuesday than today.
This performance has nothing to do with Bradshaw. It’s a carbon copy of Blackpool and very similar to Wimbledon. I don’t think it would be any different with Bradshaw today. Scunthorpe are just playing the way any team will against us. Easy to blame Bradshaw going though. Think that papers over the fact this is our 3rd totally inept performance out of 6 this season. Sometimes better to see a problem than look for an excuse. I hope Stendel can solve it.
Doesn't matter if he is championship standard or not were in league one and I still think 1million is poor
Fair enough. My point was Bradshaw going is not the problem with today’s performance. This is a rinse and repeat of 2 previous games he was involved in. It’s very early days but we need to find a way to play against teams that don’t want to play against us.
Ok, toothless is a better description for that one. With Bradshaw in the team. Again, my point was about Bradshaws departure not being an excuse or reason for the teams performance. Too easy to blame that. And in my humble opinion completely wrong.
You might not want it to be for the sake of your argument, but you can't say that Bradshaw's work rate wouldn't have made a difference to the rest of the team. It is being said that we aren't pressing.
Ok, going round in circles. You think Bradshaw would have made the difference to todays performance, I pointed out 2 games he played in were very similar to today. Opinions. Doesn’t matter really.
But he did give other examples this season of other under-par performances with Bradshaw in the team.
Bradshaw should be scoring goals for fun i don't care how many miles he runs. get over him he was average at best Hes history.
Well if that's true then firstly it ought to be good to have such positive thoughts in their heads, and then secondly if it's not good then Stendel should have had them removed cos that's his job. (thoughts removed - not heads)
