Very impressive little performance when he came on. Other than a cross that went straight behind, his delivery was excellent and not afraid of taking his man on.

Seems to have a Midas touch with subs at the moment does Stendel. What I've seen so far, even in games we are winning his changes don't hinder us. Still settling in many ways but we've got plenty in the locker by the look of it.

He put some excellent crosses in. More than we saw the rest of the team create in the first half. Very promising!

Was just about to start a thread on this myself. Thought Jacob going on the right was a big turning point, how refreshing to have a quick wide player who can cross. He put in 7 or 8 crosses and all but one was spot on. Well done lad (and Daniel).

Played very well when he came on, his crossing was impeccable bar one that went into the stand.

What is the lads natural/preferred position?

I thought he was very good when brought on. I know the general consensus is that Woodrow is the replacement for Bradshaw, but I wouldn't be surprised if the management team consider the young 'un his replacement...

I thought he was a striker. Looks like he can play anywhere.

Can't be far off a start. Grabbed his chance with both hands. Bringing him on got us back in to the game. One particular instance down by the corner flag, he got double teamed and still did them both, before putting in a really good cross someone should have got on the end of.

Fantastic performance. Best performance from a wide player I've seen for a long long time.

Liked him a lot - and a good post match interview. He had pace and caused Scunny a lot of problems...good to see Stendel recognising the young talent in the squad. He put him on to help us try to win, not just to blood him

Did Brown go to right wing back and Cavare to the left. Didn't go yesterday obviously. So who replaced Pinnilos?

It's good to see a couple of our young lads (Adeboyejo & Brown) making a positive contribution to the first team. Hopefully, this continues as the season progresses. It also highlights to other youngsters that Daniel Stendel is willing to give them an opportunity if they impress him in training and the U23's.

He was a striker and I believe has scored a few goals in the u23s, but I think he's been played out wide a bit this season/pre season

Could be a genuine alternative for us now!

Pinillos and thiam came off for Victor and Brown. At first brown went to left then swapped with Cavare. So Brown at right fullback and Cavare to left fullback. Although we were playing that high that brown was practically on the wing. It was a bit crackers.
