Would be a good addition seems he can play on the wing or just off the lone striker and is left footed so adds something different to the midfield.
Now that would be a statement of intent. He's a really talented player who could be a class above in this league...
More bookings than goals from his 42 matches last season..... http://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=45774&season_id=150 Played a few times for Scotland, so must have something about him. He'd strengthen us out wide, where we are really weak.
If Sunderland are interested we have stiff competition. They are sill getting premier league parachute payments. Statement of intent, if we are looking at players like this though.
We have 2 natural wingers at the minute and both are almost permanently injured, while Potts has filled in well at times, he's not a winger and while Thiam does look better there than upfront we still have no one who can really run down to the byline and put a proper cross in so yeah we could do with a winger.
According to my mate who is an Aberdeen fan " he is a ball playing, quick, central midfielder but a bit lightweight"!
Brown did a good impression of beating a man and getting a decent cross in several times yesterday didn’t he? Not that I am saying we don’t need more strength there
Yeah, maybe Stendel prefers him as a winger than as a striker so who knows, but I’d agree that we can’t really on him solely
The position we need cover for is Dougall's. Looks a great player, but at the rate he's picking up bookings we'll need it soon. Get Josh back from QPR
this is nothing but wishfull thinking with no substance why do people either make up storys or rumours about news we only know what the club want us to know and nothing more this forum is like Jackanory sometimes By the way the new striker is comeing on loan from real Madrid
I would say playing 442 last season was essential as that is how the squad was built. But Stendel has changed things since then. Although personally I prefer the 442 system with two quick wingers that can also track back.
