I made the trip up last night from Surrey to Oakwell and thank the lord I did.

I went for a beautiful slow cooked pork shoulder at Beatson House Restaurant before the match.

What was to follow was even more enjoyable. I thought we played very well and were thoroughly unlucky not to win by a good few goals. There were some exquisite flicks from Thiam that were worth the entrance fee alone and Moore was a man mountain up front. What a goal from Al Mowatt. Wonderful.

If we play that like for the rest of the season I will be one happy man.

    George Spicer.

You must have eaten with haste George, as Beatson House doesn't open until 6.30pm. To get an order in, have it made and then scoff it down, whilst leaving time to get parked up at Oakwell and get in your seat within 75 minutes in some going.

Be careful, indigestion at your age can be a killer.

I believe he usually travels via tandem. Cutting through traffic rather like a knife through a large piece of ripened Bree.

You're thinking of Al Qaeda down Summer Lane? It's a Happy Clapper now though.
