I thought he was pretty poor first half but much better second half. Probably would’ve got my vote too but there weren’t many players to choose from let’s be honest.

Saves anyone bothering, given your "shorter than him" mantra. David Speedie was like a leaping salmon. There are others, but he's my favourite.
Him & Jackson spent 30 minutes in the first half panicking every time the ball came near them & hoofing it straight back to a green shirt for the next wave of attack to come at us. I wouldn’t say Pinnock had a bad game but he was nothing more than average. Mowatt was clearly the best player in a reds shirt for me
Aye wasting time and spending it in wrong haif of pitch playing tippy tappy and then giving away possession in dangerous positions.
I thought he was poor 1st half but decent 2nd overall one of his worst performances this season. Played some nice balls out of defence 2nd half.
Wasn't helped by the midfield dropping so deep dougall was almost a 3rd center half at times. Davies and the defence tried to play it out from the back but the midfield got pressed and we were on the back foot again as they were 1st to every 2nd ball in midfield. I'd like to see mowatt as captain instead of Davies he was the only player who was telling others to push up.
Against teams who couldn't get past our midfield on my opinion. Every time anyone has broke beyond the midfield we've looked shakier than Michael j fox playing jenga
