    Need medals after today.

Pinnock had to babysit Cavare for 90 minutes and Lindsay had a winger at the side of him.

Both blokes deserve 15 pints and a takeaway tonight.

Really? Lindsay was piss poor again. If you can't win the ball just grab the man seems to be his theory

Give over. He made 3 or 4 tackles in front of me in the second half helping Hedges out.

I thought Lindsay was fairly average, Pinnock was excellent though and thank god he was otherwise they'd have scored double figures.

Agree that Pinnock was the best of the two though.

Both excellent. Wouldn't pay Cavare after that. Get rid.

Lindsey won most headers throughout the game, Pinnock was my mom but we look unbalanced with two left footers, it looks awkward for Pinnock to clear on the right side. Imo he is covering for Cavare who im afraid is a loose canon and does not have the ability at this level, i thought he started the season well but has gone downhill since.

I've not seen much of them this season and was looking forward to watching them but I was pretty disappointed. They both made some excellent tackles and interceptions but collectively they were poor and the defence was all over the place.

Pinnock was way too deep time after time. If the ball is coming down the right it's his job to hold the line and take his lead from Lindsay, but over and over he was 5 yards deeper than the rest of the defence and played them onside. Luckily he has excellent recovery skills which got him out of trouble and masked the problem.

It's hard to tell from the stands but the impression I got is that there is a lack of communication and neither are organisers. But in their defence it's not easy playing alongside full backs who are about as predictable as a David Lynch film.

Ridiculous. He barely lost an aerial battle.

Pinnock is a rolls Royce of a defender, classy, but there was little wrong with Lindsay’s performance today.

As for those in front of them, and especially at the side of Pinnock, not so much.

Pinnock was stand out of the 2 but Lindsay played well too. Pinnock has been exellent all season apparently thats who beilsa was looking at at the luton game and id imagine other clubs are also looking hope we can hold on to him after jan. People have to remember pinnocks playing on the right and he is left footed to accomadate lindsay he is a class act.. Also Can't understand why pinnilos was brought off and hedges went left back.

Lindsay has played with his hands from day one.

Agree with this, good summary. And that it may be a matter of organising the line without a senior member of the back four to call it

Agree with the OP. Lindsay and Pinnock deserve a beer from the others today, as does Davies for that save at the end. Our midfield and full backs struggled today, left the central defenders to cope with a lot of work.

Strange game. Didn't think we played shockingly bad, and was probably a decent game for a neutral, but there was little quality when we had the ball.

They've both clearly got a lot of ability but they were pulled all over today. Either of them alongside a Kevin Long would be a cracking partnership and a calm solid base which we just didn't have today. There was no shape at all and huge open channels for Doncaster to run in to, even first half.

That said there were far worse performances and they both put their bodies on the line throughout.

Agree with most of what's already been said. Any fair minded person would have to admit
that Doncaster were the better side on the day and in all honesty deserved to win.
We had too many of our team " off the boil" today. Thought Cavare did OK apart from losing
possession for their goal. Hedges and Bahre were caught in possession too many times for my
liking but we got away with it. Pinnock was our stand out player and for my money, Lindsay had
a good game. It's another point towards our target. Thank the Lord that Marquis doesn't understand
the offside rule because if he'd have been onside, we could have shipped a few more goals today.
Hoping today was a one off and we get back on track in time for Sunderland on Tuesday night.
