Are you for real, on the p*ss or just a WUM? Watch the highlights for the last match and come back to us. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but as for " his first touch is a lottery"!!!?? Sheesh!!
Are you sure you are watching the same player or are you mistaking Moore for Bahre (clue - one is 6ft plus with the 1st touch of a steam hammer, the turning circle of an oil tanker whilst the other is average height, short legs, so low centre of gravity and leaves opponents on the ars*es when he turns on a sixpence.

You’re talking as if Bahre is about 28 & been here years with no room for improvement.

He’s a young lad playing abroad for the first time. After just 4 months I’d say he’s doing fine & it’d be bizarre if he was playing to anywhere near his peak right now.

I completely agree he’s been guilty of giving possession away cheaply but I’d also say that’s what happens with players that take risks, with more experience & getting used to his team mates I’d imagine that’ll happen less, it already looks like he’s keeping possession better in his last few games compared to his first few

Sorry to disagree. IMHO Moore's first touch is often poor (there is plenty of evidence on past match videos if they were still available to back that up) and being 6ft plus means he is a a bit less ..ahem...nimble than someone like Bahre.

I certainly don't of Moore as a 'mistake on a spreadsheet ' and not a"bang average" League One player. I like Moore and he is a useful asset for certain matches. However, again IMHO, his level is League One and he has reached his potential.

Bahre, on the other hand, is learning, developing and improving and as such, on the last game he was pivotal in the 1st half domination over the midfield of a promotion chasing side and will make the step up to Championship level. I don't believe that Moore, for all the goals he has scored , can be as influential as Bahre showed he can be. Moore has not really been missed the last two games whereas, certainly in the Charlton match, there might well have been a different outcome without Bahre, destroying their midfield lineup.

EDIT: The comparisons with Oil tankers and Steam Hammers were hyperbole and bit OTT but were there to emphasise a comparison between Moore and Bahre different attributes for someone who seemed to lack the basic understanding of what makes a footballer. So in that aspect oit ws a bit daft I suppose! Sorry!

Bahre and Moncur are the two most naturally gifted players at the club. If they had the other qualities that make a top flight player they wouldn't be at Barnsley.

Didn't Pinnock's square head flick on lead to their free kick and goal? Mowatt had a good game, but Bahre was as good a display of attacking midfield as I've seen since Hammill.

I watch Barnsley every game I can but I'm starting to get confused, reading this board it seems like I am watching a different Barnsley than some other folks.
