Liverpool have recalled Ben Woodburn from Sheffield United. Would he drop to league one anyone think?
Why would Liverpool recall him from a Championship club to send him back out on loan to a league one club?
In that case I would have expected United to send him back to avoid the financial penalties that Liverpool impose. Either that or LIverpool no longer apply these conditions to their loan deals. Either way I don’t see him as a player to supplement our cause at this moment
A player that can play on either wing? I’d say he’d supplement our cause a fair bit. It’s not going to happen anyway most likely as there’s championship clubs enquiring, Brentford, Hull and Blackburn mentioned.
I don’t know anything about him. Sounds like Ive misjudged the situation. Be interesting to see what unfolds
The whole EPPP just given the premier clubs license to print money by hoovering up all the better younger players and then loaning them out to other clubs for financial reward some clubs generate as much money from these loans as other revenue streams for the clubs.
he is a very good player, has made a few international appearances for Wales and performed extremely well.
If the rumours about Liverpool loanees having to play 75% of the time for the club, and assuming this isn't the case for other Premiership clubs, then I'd never ever borrow a player from Liverpool again. Too risky.
Id be asking why in 4 months of being fit for the 1st team at sheff u why hasnt he played more than ten games...
