Had lunch today with an old friend who is a Leeds fan, watches them home and away and has done for decades. When we talked about the behaviour of leeds fans away and what he saw as their rough treatment, he thought for a minute and said: "I've come to a conclusion that even Police dogs don't like us" Made me chuckle, got taste those alsations Hee Heee
Yep, I should have said he was complaining about the "rufff" treatment they get. Get my coat while you're at it
B Amusing, however thi mate sounds like most deluded self important leedshite fans , truth is most folk couldn't give two ***** about 'em, they've been irrelevant for years......sithi.
Typical Leeds fan - getting a buzz out of everyone and everything hating them. And years ago that’s why they did what they did. DO ANYTHING TO GET NOTICED. Useless at fighting unless they greatly outnumbered their opponent. Always getting their ar@s kicked by the top hooligan teams e.g. West Ham. But Leeds would make sure they left their mark by smashing something up or breaking something or if all else failed running keys down cars. And that’s how they got their reputation. They are foooking garbage.
My friend was being deadly serious, which made it all the funnier as far as I was concerned He isn't mate. He's a born again Christian and is actually dismayed by the behaviour of some Leeds fans. I usually pull his leg. Trouble is they might be going up.....please fa fine em 20 points for spying
Fair do's chief ...however not on about their bell end element.....just their general consensus that every has got it in for 'em and everyone gives a **** what happens to leedshite.....99% don't care......sithi.
I generally don't give a **** either, except up to this season it's been great ripping the **** but they've suddenly become good ...hate it as I'm surrounded by em in West Yorkshire
I didn't think there were different classes of hooligan. I thought they were ALL a horrendous cancer on football and society in general.
Nudger, that was an odd reply. I know you are wrong, perhaps you could explain how you came by the knowledge to make the statement?
Because I’m old enough - I’ve lived through the 1970s and 1980s when it was at its height - and I’ve been in different situations with various clubs and seen what happens. A time when most or all of football fans of a certain age was involved and loved it. Young and daft - that’s what we were. We would do ANYTHING - because we thought we would never die. A Clockwork Orange. We didn’t need the false lashes because we had the pit mascara. Although that didn’t stop some wearing the false lashes and makeup. Only when the London fans got scared in the late 1970s and started using weapons regularly that things started to deteriorate.
Mate, see my earlier post. You are like Rachel Riley. There are no words except I can assure you I'll never dream of being stuck in a lift with you
"Most or all of football fans were involved" What complete and utter b****cks. Five percent at most who caused chaos, bodily harm to innocents and created the conditions that led to Hillsborough and Heysel.
