I believe that this is the latest polling Jimmy - it shows Con slightly ahead overall but with Con short by 34 on a predicted 2022 election meaning a hung government - that leaves Labour still way behind

I think you need to read my post again, the bit you have missed or chosen to ignore is about the buck attending IRA funerals, going to a commemoration for Bobby Sands

Boris caught out and out lying ( again) and hardly a murmur . If that had been Corbyn it would have been front page news in the papers and leading stories on ITV.

Corbyn turns 70 in May. Will be 73 by time of the 2022 elections. If, and that’s a big IF he got in. Would you want a prime minister who could potentially be there at 78 year old?

I did read it, but there are plenty of those who would like to see a united Ireland that aren't IRA sympathisers but are quite often accused of such. My thoughts were with them and wasn't Corbyn related as such. For what it is worth I am a socialist but not a Corby supporter.

You need to discount all the YouGov ones from that to get a the correct picture given their notorious unreliability.

Are you being serious? 37.35% v 37.31% and you are splitting hairs saying that it isn't level. On an individual poll both those amounts would be shown as 37%. You're just making yourself look silly, mate.

He is, by all accounts, splitting hairs!!

(I have no dog in any political fight btw - why anyone should nail their colours to the mast any of our parties and not have the sense to conclude for themselves what's right on any particular matter without feeling the need for someone bathed in red or blue to tell them, is beyond me.)

Agreed. If the Tories came out with a load of policies that I agree with I'd happily vote for them. Same for any of them. What I can say is that Labour tends to side with my feelings more often so I am more inclined to go with them but that could all change if their policies went against my views

why wont you answer the question mate? - is it because you cant? - calling someone a pillock because they point out a numerical inaccuracy makes you look stupid and more stupid for not asking the question I have put, not once but twice - you must be a politician

What is the question? 37.35% and 37.31% are neck and neck. They're practically the same thing.

If the only question you want answering is "what do you guys think?" Then it's been answered a million times. I think you are completely wrong? They ARE neck and neck and as such he hasn't lied at all

do you not think they should be miles ahead though, with May and The Gov on their arse atm or do you think neck and neck is good enough for Labour?

As they will always struggle to win over a large amount of conservative areas they will never be miles ahead. It doesn't help when the media who have a lot to lose if labour get in are running a campaign against Corbyn
