So not only will he now not get paid, he will most likely serve time for criminal damage and get himself a criminal record....... Great thinking from that man right there
Luckily in my industry people speak to one another, and it's small enough that persistent late payers can find it difficult to get credit from suppliers. I'm grateful that my little corner of it is on the retail end though. I get what I'm owed over the counter, one transaction at a time!
The bloke is a pillock, no excuse for that it can not be condoned at all, I hope he goes down for a decent length of time. There are loads of reasons why payments are late, it was a terrible video to watch very dangerous he could have killed someone.
The idiot had been paid. He just hadn't checked his bank account and assumed he hadn't because the payment went in Monday instead of Friday.
Totally agree. I run a DJ agency & I'm still owed £6k from big companies. I don't have an overdraft. It is a ******* nightmare. Small claims court is useless too.
I'm not surprised, hence why I prefixed my post with "It may turn out not to be the case here...". There were suggestions earlier that it wasn't the fault of the main contractor on this occasion. I stand by what I wrote earlier though - big businesses are buggers for not paying on time. I always checked my bank account immediately before phoning them up to shout at them though.
Its in the sun but that isn't true his boss hadn't paid any of the lads he was a groundworker apparently. But what he did was wrong wasn't the main contractors fault should have gone round his bosses house and smashed his front door.
Are we absolutely sure it even is a bloke driving it? It reminds me a hell of a lot of my Mrs trying to get parked up in the Alhambra.
Sounds like he'll have been brought in on a s.136. Hope he gets the help he needs. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/digger-rampage-driver-tried-mental-15717262
It’s often crossed my mind in the past, when I’ve not been able to provide for my family due to late payment of wages, to paslode the doors of the offices shut and burn everyone inside. I’ve then come to my senses and not followed it through happily.
