I was kinda half asleep and heard it - a hell of a noise, even up here in Poggy. It must have been deafening in town.

As the late Fred Dibnah would have said, " did you like that."? Always marvel
as to how accurate the Demolition pros really are. They can drop a building on a " tanner"
with the minimum of disruption. I've got mixed memories of that Car Park. Some Saturdays
when we were away, we used to park in there to visit the Market. At that time, it was notororious for
kids running between floors hitting all the buttons in an attempt to jam the lifts between
floors. My missus and myself had to give help to a frail old lady once, when kids temporarily
jammed the lift resulting in her having a panic attack. Amazing what some "wazzocks" will do " for
    a laugh."!!!

My missus heard the bang. Then she very kindly woke me up to ask me if I'd heard anything.

That happened to brother in law a few years back when we had that minor earthquake.

Sister woke him up in a panic. He told her not to worry and that it was just the cat.

They haven't started charging on Saturday. If you park in a red bay it's a short stay with a free ticket you have to get from the machine. In a white bay the parking is free and unlimited liken normal.

Is that true as it sounds daft? Why doesn’t everyone just park in white bays irrespective of time limit they are staying (I suspect they do) and if they are all full why aren’t the red bays painted white?
