If Pompy don't get all 3 points of Peterborough, then we're up. If they DO win, a point will be enough for promotion. Either way, if we better Luton's result next week, we're champions... edit. a point may not be enough actually...
We need to win next week if Pompey beat Peterborough. I would have preferred a Sunderland win today as I think their run in is harder on paper than Pompey's. I can see Pompey winning both their remaining two home games leaving us needing a win next week to go up. My nerves are shredded from today and now I'll have to go another week and face the same next Saturday. Great position to be in, but it would be nice if results go our way on Tuesday and promote us.
We're 7 goals better off than Sunderland, so we are likely to finish above them even if we lose at Brizzle. They'd need two handy wins and us to lose. Pompey are 4 points and 9 goals worse off than us. So if Pompey only draw one of their remaining games they'd need to win by 7 or 8 in the other to finish above us. We win then the Rest is just fluff.
If Peterborough get anything at Portsmouth after their result today I'll be amazed. But here's hoping.
If Pompy only draw, we would be up for all all intents and purposes, due to our superior goal difference. They would need us to lose, them to win and a 9 goal swing on the final day to overhaul us...
Very true but wouldn’t it be nice to go Bristol just being able to focus on the title, hopefully Posh do us a favour and turn up, but judging by their performance that’s not gonna happen
